WHAT DOES DOG DAYCARE GET YOU, AND WHY ARE WE DIFFERENT?

We offer a traditional daycare program here where pups can interact with each other throughout the day. Our groups are small, with around 15 dogs, and we have at least 2 rangers supervising them at all times. These smaller groups allow us more personal time with your babies. We give an hour-long nap around lunchtime, and the dogs have access to the entire facility. However, we spend most of our day in the park because the dogs prefer it there! We focus on quality care, not quantity or volume, and we take pride in providing a homely environment in a facility. We love your dogs so much!

TO RESERVE YOUR DATES

1. Log into your Gingr Account or create an account if you don’t already have one

2. Click on the "Book" Tab

3. Under booking, select the pup you’d like to book, then click "start booking."

It's pretty straightforward from there. After you book your dates, you can go into "shop/shop packages" and select a package (5-day or 10-day), or you can choose to pay the day rate at pick-up.

We kindly request that dogs brought to daycare be at least 16 weeks old and have all their vaccinations up to date. Additionally, they should be calm in the kennel, which we consider as being ‘kennel trained.’ A kennel-trained dog is willing to go into the kennel without excessive barking or whining. We also ask that puppies be potty trained and have basic recall skills. It’s also important to note that daycare is not an appropriate environment to address behavior concerns such as aggression, resource guarding, or separation anxiety. Our Daycare program is not a training program. Please seek training, or we can offer training recommendations if you are looking for training help for your pup. Thank you for your cooperation in ensuring a safe and comfortable experience for all our furry friends.

 

POLICIES

  • We ask that reservations be made 24 hours in advance via the portal, but we will accept less than that if we are not fully booked. If you have issues booking, please email daycare@omahadogbar.com; we can help!

  • All cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to avoid fees

  • We do not offer late pick-ups at this time, but if you need an earlier or later drop-off or earlier pick-up, please add that information in the note field when you're booking.

  • You will be charged a late fee of $10 every 15 minutes after the last pick-up time of 5:30 PM. It is essential not to be late! 

  • Pups must have up-to-date vax re/cords, feeding, and medications/allergy information on file.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be social and get along with other dogs

  • Must be okay with sharing toys/balls, etc.

  • Must be spayed or neutered by one-year-old.

  • Must be current on vaccinations and in good health. Rabies, Distemper (DHLPP/Da2PP), and Bordetella.

  • Must be on tick/flea and heartworm preventatives

  • We love puppies, but they must be potty trained and have basic training completed already (know recall, manners, etc)

  • We really like it when pups are kennel-trained. This means they can be calm in the kennel while other dogs or people are present. FYI, we would still consider them for daycare if they are not kennel-trained.

  • We offer a smaller, more intimate group of pups so your pup gets to know everyone and is comfortable with them. 

  • Lots of outdoor space! (Pee/pooping will be outside! No more potty bad habits will be brought home) 

  • Lots of social time. We do open play but can break out into smaller groups depending on the needs of the pups of the day.

  • Designated rest breaks are in individual crates, ensuring a necessary cool-down and time away from the excitement of group play. We can accommodate pups that are not crate-trained.

  • All dogs have full access to our unique 5,000-square-foot indoor facility and 13,000-square-foot outdoor park.
