Barrels & Barks | A Whiskey Tasting Experience

Ready to learn what makes whiskey whiskey?

Join us for a night of smooth sips and rich stories as we walk through the full journey — from grain to glass!

Our host will lead you through a guided tasting and presentation covering:

  • A brief history of whiskey 📜

  • How to drink (and truly enjoy) whiskey 🥃

  • What a mash bill is 🌾

  • How aging and barrel types affect flavor 🪵

  • The different styles of whiskey around the world 🌏

As we explore each topic, you’ll get to sample a curated lineup — featuring mostly American bourbons with a few special guests like rye and Scotch.

Holiday Mini Sessions are back at ODB! 🎄

We’re teaming up with Emma Conrady Photography to bring you festive, fur-tastic photos this season!

📆 Dates: November 8th, 22nd & 23rd
💰 Cost: $25 for at least 2 edited photos
🕒 Session Time: About 10 minutes

Each session includes a shot of your pup solo and one of you together with a seasonal backdrop (because we know who the real star is 🐶).

Photos will be taken indoors in the Leash Lounge, so no need to worry about the weather!

  • 📩 You’ll get your edited photos via email afterward.

  • 💵 Pay online via Venmo or PayPal, or email Emma at emmaconrady.photography@gmail.com if you’d like to pay cash the day of.

Note: ODB is just hosting! All payments and photo communication go directly through Emma.

Sip, Snip & Propagate

Get ready to leaf your worries behind 🌿

Join us for our first ever Sip, Snip & Propagate — a fun, hands-on night for dog + plant lovers! Bring your favorite cuttings to share, sip on a themed “Green Thumb” cocktail, and meet other green thumbs (and wagging tails).

We’ll have propagation stations set up with soil, jars, and a variety of cuttings ready to root — just bring yourself, your pup, and any extra clippings you’d love to swap!

What to Expect:

  • Propagation tables with supplies provided 🪴

  • Cutting swap station — trade with others or grab something new 🌿

  • Drink Specials 🍸

  • Dogs welcome (just keep curious noses out of the dirt) 🐶

  • Free for humans, but if bringing a dog, you must have a membership or purchase a day pass. 🎟️

  • You can bring your own food, but we do have yummy pizzas, enchiladas, dips, etc. on our food menu! 🍕

Make it a chill night of sipping, snipping, and swapping stories — and of course, showing off your pups and plants. Because nothing says “plant parent” like having a dog hair or two in your soil. 🌱🐾
